Trial converts to a charge
Charged before free trial ended — don't bother with the free trial, they will charge your card before its even over. i actually thought it was a good app up until this point but i cant support shady business practices.
Not a free trial — Response to the developer: I’m very well aware that it said a 3 day free trial, I’m not stupid I know how to cancel things. The problem is you IMMEDIATELY charged me when I clicked free trial. There wasn’t a 3 day…
Unexpected charge — I thought I was agreeing to a free trial and was charged for a $49.99 yearly subscription and now am unable to find a way to cancel it. I can’t imagine ever being okay with spending that amount on a blur app!
Aggressive ad load
DO NOT DOWNLOAD! — FALSE ADVERTISING!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!! These scam artist claim this app is free but they are LYING! Every single thing on here is blocked by a paywall. If you want to do literally anything at all, You can’t. They will…
HORRIBLE — All this app does is try to scam you into paying for a simple photo blur job. It is endless ads for other services as well as ads for itself. It wont let you save the photo or use the photo without paying and every selection…
Works Once — Pony up the money for the subscription or be prepared to blur one photo only. Then AFTER it makes you watch ads it tells you no more freebies. No warning; no lube- just bend over and take it.
Misleading advertising

Says free to use but not — Bait and switch
Bait and switch. — “Lifetime membership: $19.99” Nope, this subscription model doesn’t exist.
Paywall blocks the basics
Free version is unusable — Unreasonable amount of ads and very limited functionality. Deleted.
Actually awful now — This app used to be good. Now it’s pointless now that the ENTIRE thing is locked behind a paywall. Get your stuff together, devs.
Basic features locked behind a ridiculously overpriced paywall — Can’t even use basic features without being forced to either pay or sign up for a trial. This is a serious problem with so many of these type of apps on the App Store. And…
How a review signal works
A review signal is produced automatically from public app reviews by a classifier — never by a hands-on Appworthy test, and never by a human analyst. It exists so a real, not-yet-audited app can carry more than a blank “Not yet tested” listing, without ever being mistaken for an assessment.
A theme only appears above once at least 5 distinct reviews corroborate it — one angry review can never tag an app. These thresholds are published settings and may be tuned as coverage grows.
It carries no confirmed findings — reviews are one kind of evidence, and nothing here has been hands-on tested. The moment Appworthy publishes a full assessment of this app, it replaces this signal, permanently.
A human review replaces this review-derived signal with hands-on, recorded measurements.
Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
