Privacy.
What we collect, what we never do, and how to reach us — in plain language. This is a working draft, written to match how the product actually behaves.
What we collect
- Usage analytics. Every page loads a usage analytics script (PostHog), served from our own domain. It records page views, clicks, page exits and JavaScript errors, and it sets a cookie and uses your browser's local storage to recognise a returning browser. Like any web request, it reaches us with your IP address. Session recording is switched off for this site. No consent banner is shown yet.
- No email addresses. The site itself collects no email addresses: it has no account, no sign-up and no contact form.
- Email you choose to send. If you write to [email protected], we receive your address and whatever you send — screenshots, links, notes — and use it to handle that request.
- Local preferences. Your light/dark theme choice, stored only in your own browser.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your data to anyone, for any reason.
- Use the evidence you submit in a correction or dispute for anything other than resolving that request.
- Track you across other sites to build an advertising profile.
- Let anything you pay for — including any future inspection fee — change how we handle your data or a finding's evidence.
Retention
We keep correction emails and their evidence only as long as needed to resolve the request and keep a record of the resulting correction, then remove what we no longer need. A specific retention schedule, for email and for analytics data, is being finalized during legal review.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about a request you sent, or ask us to delete it, by writing to the address below. You can block the analytics script or clear its cookie in your browser; the site works without it.
