Every test, including the ones we voided

The audit record.

A hands-on test is a person running our test protocol against an app on a real device and recording what they measure. This page lists every test we have completed and what each one did to the findings we had already published about that app.

Tests completed: 0. Of those, voided: 0.

No hands-on test has been completed yet, so every count on this page is zero. The page is published first so that the first test lands on a record that was already here.

What the tests did

Counted from each test's reconciliation, which is frozen when the test is completed. A voided test is listed below and counts for nothing here.

Confirmed: a finding we had already published, which the test also measured. Added: a finding we had not published, which the test measured. Contradicted: a finding we had published, which the test's measurement does not bear out on the version tested; it stays on the app's page, marked as contradicted, with both sides shown. Credits are the favourable findings. A test removes one as readily as it adds one.

Every test

The date, the protocol version and the session reference are the ones printed on the app's own page.

No test is listed, because none has been completed.

Voided tests

A test we withdraw stays on this record with the reason. Its mark comes off the app's page and its measurements stop counting.

No test has been voided.

How these tests are run and paid for

Every test listed here was run at our own cost. Nobody has paid us for a test.

Every test is run on free trials only and the auditor incurs no charge, so cancelling is tested only where a free trial can be started and cancelled without a charge. Tests in which the cancel items were observed: 0.

A test confirms or contradicts findings, adds measurements and sets the dated Human-reviewed mark. It does not change a band: the bands are computed from the automated measurements, and what a test measured is published in the app's report. The mark carries the date and the app version tested and has no end date. Each test is run by one auditor and is not double-run; the app's page says so.
