Verbatim excerpts from public store reviews, shown as corroborating user reports. They are not Appworthy audit evidence, and a quotation is not proof of the finding it sits under.
Hard to cancel
Spent 20$ for a month of reading. I ended up using my coins only to get 50 chapters and then it's asking me to top off for another 20$. The stories are good but not good enough to buy more coins to only be able to read 50 chapters. I need…
Expensive fiction and Hard to unsubscribe
BEWARE!!! Unable to cancel auto subscription. no option in the menus. lack of transparency as you think you're buying open access and still need to buy additional coins to read! very scam like.
Misleading advertising
although the ads are too intrusive, I have been ripped off three times by these reading apps and their offers of discounted subscriptions that seem to be a means of accessing credit card info in order to increase the charges so I have…
I was reading a story and NOWHERE did it say the free chapter per hour would stop and I would have to pay if I wanted to finish the f'ing story!!!!! removing the app cause it's not free to read and false advertising. 😡
advertised as free books but have to jump through hoops to read. wait an hour between pages. stories seem to be good that is what you can read before you forget or get busy with during the hour of waiting.
What this app sells
How a review signal works
A review signal is produced automatically from public app reviews by a classifier — never by a hands-on Appworthy test, and never by a human analyst. It exists so a real, not-yet-audited app can carry more than a blank “Not yet tested” listing, without ever being mistaken for an assessment.
A theme only appears above once at least 5 distinct reviews corroborate it — one angry review can never tag an app. These thresholds are published settings and may be tuned as coverage grows.
It carries no confirmed findings — reviews are one kind of evidence, and nothing here has been hands-on tested. The moment Appworthy publishes a full assessment of this app, it replaces this signal, permanently.
A human review replaces this review-derived signal with hands-on, recorded measurements.
Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
