What the analysis found
The catch list 1
Charges we publish at a strength we stand behind: measured from an artefact, agreed by independent sources, or reported by enough users to clear that charge's own published bar.
Context 1
Measured and published because a reader would want to know — deliberately not a charge. The measurement alone does not show a harm.
One source only — shown, not confirmed 4
A single kind of evidence. We publish these because withholding them would be the bigger distortion, and we do not treat any of them as a finding we stand behind.
What reviewers said
Verbatim excerpts from public store reviews, shown as corroborating user reports. They are not Appworthy audit evidence, and a quotation is not proof of the finding it sits under.
Aggressive ad load
DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! — You get SOOOO MANY ADS that you can’t even skip the part is that you have to buy it after all your wasted time.
More ads than a mobile game — This app has ads that play every 3 letters, which makes the process more slower than the time it takes to probably download GTA 6, and the fact that they do 2 ads at once is just crazy, go keep your money…
It’s cool but ads — I really like making my own font and u can do It for free you just have a lot of ads but I do recommend it if you don’t have a problem with them
Paywall with no way past it
Please do not download this app — I got this app and it's horrible. When making the font you need to watch an add every three letters you make, and after that you can't even use the font without paying. I thought the app would be fun but…
Useless without paying.. — You literally cant use the app without paying.. ads every 3 letters, then when you waste 15 minutes of your life making all the lowercase letters it keeps telling you to get the subscription?? Thats just…
This sucks — I had to watch her ad every four letters and I couldn’t even use it without paying money not recommend
Reports that the ads misrepresent the app
not free — you can’t even make a font for fun and not use it, you get tricked into buying a trial run for a subscription at the opening screen. ads are very misleading.
Better off just writing an actual letter then making a font — Do not waste your time seriously, if you want to use it you have to pay and there’s a million ads during the creation process. there is absolutely zero use for this app, and no…
It sucks — I’m only 5 stars so you can see this!!!! Don't waste your time drawing out a whole font in this app. They advertise that you can create and use your own custom fonts, but as soon as you finish, you are blocked by a paywall just…
Paywall blocks the basics
ts is so buns — Lots of ads. I mean lots. I wanted a cool little handwritten font, but it was behind about an hour of ads, and then a paywall! I’m aware of the free trial, but, to be honest, I have no clue how to cancel subscriptions, and…

not worth it — i saw so many ads hyping this up only for there to be an abundance of ads, one after almost nearly every letter you complete. and after all of that i didn’t even get access to the font it was locked behind a paywall.
What this app sells
From the store listing. Billing terms are read from each purchase’s name — the stores don’t publish them — so treat them as a strong hint, not a disclosure.
How the automated analysis works
This assessment is produced automatically. Three independent signals are read — user reviews, the store listing and the store privacy disclosure — and each candidate finding is filed under the sources that support it.
No charge stands on one kind of evidence — with one published exception. A finding is either a measured fact that anyone can reproduce (an ad SDK is in the package; every subscription bills weekly; the privacy label omits a tracker we can see), or it is an interpretation — and an interpretation needs independent sources to agree before it reaches the catch list. The exception is a harm only users can see: a charge may publish from reviews alone, as “Reported by N users”, once enough reviewers raise it to clear that charge’s own published bar. That agreement rule is what replaced the human reviewer, not a model’s confidence.
There is no overall score, on purpose. A 0–99 number was published here until 2026-09-15. It was withdrawn because it discriminated too weakly to be the instrument — 44.7% of every pair of apps tied — and because a single number is a verdict where a count is an observation. What publishes instead is a row of measurements, each of which says what was counted and, where we could not look, says that instead.
Findings under One source only are real reports we do not stand behind as findings. They are shown because withholding them entirely would hide a genuine complaint, and labelled because publishing them as charges would be an accusation off a single source.
Several measurements above say “Not assessed” because no artefact we hold can answer them. A human review is what resolves those — and it can remove a favourable band as easily as add one.
Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
