Aggressive ad load
Ads — I use the free version and the pop up ads don’t allow you to use the app 60% of the time. You have to hold close the app and restart it, then hope an Ad doesn’t pop up again.
Great Weather App — Fantastic weather app! Many other alternatives utilize Foreca’s weather data in their own apps (eg. Carrot). Although there is a small charge to remove ads (which I more than happily pay for as I find it more than…
Best Weather App — I've tried all the weather apps out there, even going back to some over time and there was always something missing or something annoying. Found Foreca and it's the perfect weather app for me. It's simple, it has the…
No ad complaints
Great interface and features — The radar is indeed great. Very customizable and lots of widgets. Reasonable price to unlock ad free features.
Best free weather app — This has a clean interface and no ads taking up space in the weather forecast. You may occasionally get a full screen pop up which is much easier to deal with than the visual noise of having an ad on the interface…
Nice! — I’ve tried a lot of weather apps and keep coming back to this one. Great functionality and features, including customizations. Light on permissions. My main issue is that the watch complication is usually slow to update. Also, I…
How a review signal works
A review signal is produced automatically from public app reviews by a classifier — never by a hands-on Appworthy test, and never by a human analyst. It exists so a real, not-yet-audited app can carry more than a blank “Not yet tested” listing, without ever being mistaken for an assessment.
A theme only appears above once at least 5 distinct reviews corroborate it — one angry review can never tag an app. These thresholds are published settings and may be tuned as coverage grows.
It carries no confirmed findings — reviews are one kind of evidence, and nothing here has been hands-on tested. The moment Appworthy publishes a full assessment of this app, it replaces this signal, permanently.
A human review replaces this review-derived signal with hands-on, recorded measurements.
Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
