What the analysis found
Positive evidence 1
Things this app does right, published at the same strengths as the catch list.
One source only — shown, not confirmed 4
A single kind of evidence. We publish these because withholding them would be the bigger distortion, and we do not treat any of them as a finding we stand behind.
What reviewers said
Verbatim excerpts from public store reviews, shown as corroborating user reports. They are not Appworthy audit evidence, and a quotation is not proof of the finding it sits under.
Trial converts to a charge
Scam, doesn't work, don't risk it. No part of it is free, it offers a "7 day free trial" which automatically links to payment with your Google account. If you try to cancel it on the app, it gives you a form to contact with "request…
Run!!! I signed up for this app for the 7 days trial. I only needed to receive one fax, I understood that if I did not cancel before the trial ended I would be charged 24.99. They tried to upgrade my temporary account to plus which was…
THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!!! FREE TRIAL IS A SHAM. THEY CHARGED ME A YEAR DURING THE TRIAL AND WON'T REFUND!!!!! I too would give it a ZERO if possible!!! I signed up for the 7 day trial online. When I downloaded the app the system…
Hard to cancel
Free trial that you cannot cancel! Made several requests (since that's seemingly the only way to do it?!) to cancel within the 7 day trial period but never received any response. My account was charged. Do not use unless you want to give…
This app is useless! It did not send my fax and I attempted it 3 times! Plus trying to cancel my free trial period is impossible.
It says free trial but automatically charges you. And impossible to find out how to cancel it. It says cancelation is not automatic and need to be confirmed by customer service. Very deceiving.
Reports of unexpected charges

Reports that the ads misrepresent the app
PLEASE PLEASE NOTIFY CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCY AND BBB. THIS SMELLS OF CLASS ACTION SUIT MAY BE NEEDED. BEWARE !! FRAUD...I ordered free trial and I was charged for a monthly subscription $27. 48 and $186.89 for 1 year subscription THE…
False advertising: App description says get a free fax number for 7 days. You have to pay $169 for a fax number...
The basic plan provides you with 0 pages. Scam to get you to sign up w the free trial and then force you to upgrade for immediate billable subscription. Waste of time. Bait and switch.

How the automated analysis works
This assessment is produced automatically. One independent signal is read — user reviews — and each candidate finding is filed under the source that supports it.
No charge stands on one kind of evidence — with one published exception. A finding is either a measured fact that anyone can reproduce (an ad SDK is in the package; every subscription bills weekly; the privacy label omits a tracker we can see), or it is an interpretation — and an interpretation needs independent sources to agree before it reaches the catch list. The exception is a harm only users can see: a charge may publish from reviews alone, as “Reported by N users”, once enough reviewers raise it to clear that charge’s own published bar. That agreement rule is what replaced the human reviewer, not a model’s confidence.
There is no overall score, on purpose. A 0–99 number was published here until 2026-09-15. It was withdrawn because it discriminated too weakly to be the instrument — 44.7% of every pair of apps tied — and because a single number is a verdict where a count is an observation. What publishes instead is a row of measurements, each of which says what was counted and, where we could not look, says that instead.
Findings under One source only are real reports we do not stand behind as findings. They are shown because withholding them entirely would hide a genuine complaint, and labelled because publishing them as charges would be an accusation off a single source.
Several measurements above say “Not assessed” because no artefact we hold can answer them. A human review is what resolves those — and it can remove a favourable band as easily as add one.
