We analyzed this app across 3 independent signals and corroborated nothing unfair. That is a signal, not an audit.
This analysis describes version 1.8.6 of the app, analyzed 2026-10-05 . The app may have changed since.
The store currently lists version 1.8.6, updated 2026-08-08.
What the analysis found
One source only — shown, not confirmed 5
A single kind of evidence. We publish these because withholding them would be the bigger distortion, and we do not treat any of them as a finding we stand behind.
What reviewers said
Verbatim excerpts from public store reviews, shown as corroborating user reports. They are not Appworthy audit evidence, and a quotation is not proof of the finding it sits under.
Trial converts to a charge
Scam — Subscriptions says free trial, then charges you money. Do not download
10$ JUST TO TRY IT ! Don’t download they charge immediately — This is ridiculous! $10 just to try out an app are you kidding me? It said I had three days of a free trial, but it charged me as soon as I downloaded the app. Absolute trash.
Scam — Don’t download this app. I downloaded this app and then deleted unsubscribed the very same day honestly not even like 5 minutes later… I was still charged even though I was supposed to be given a 7 day free trial.
Hard to cancel
Difficult to cancel subscription — This app made me so nervous it just felt like it gets too much Access to your phone and doesn't feel legit. It's also not easy to cancel the subscription. I had to contact the company to ask how to…
Horrible! — Unable to edit, unable to cancel subscription, no customer service help
Cancellation — Difficult to cancel through the app. They provide two emails by which to cancel. No customer support number.
Reports that the ads misrepresent the app
Bait and switch — Dont waste your time with this app! Its a free trial but requires payment information first before a single pdf conversion. They prey on people who will forget to cancel “free trial” and charge them endlessly. STAY AWAY
NOT FREE AT ALL — In a hurry, I downloaded the app without reading the reviews & relied on the overall star rating. There’s not a single free option or trial so now this app is tied to my phone forever despite me never using it & deleting…
Thieves and Liars — I was offered one week for .99 and then was auto charged a week later for $50. I never authorized this. This app is clearly bait and switch. Beware.
Paywall blocks the basics
Cant use without paying — Whats the point of making it a “free” app if you have to pay to convert anything??
Can’t use without purchase of account. — Got this App with hopes of using to convert photo image to pdf. After taking image, found out that you can’t do anything with image without paying fee to join. This point should be made clear…
Makes you pay $6 — I got this because it was free and then I realized I couldn’t even use it unless I paid them six dollars which is only good for a week worth of converting
How the automated analysis works
This assessment is produced automatically. Three independent signals are read — user reviews, the store listing and the store privacy disclosure — and each candidate finding is filed under the sources that support it.
No charge stands on one kind of evidence — with one published exception. A finding is either a measured fact that anyone can reproduce (an ad SDK is in the package; every subscription bills weekly; the privacy label omits a tracker we can see), or it is an interpretation — and an interpretation needs independent sources to agree before it reaches the catch list. The exception is a harm only users can see: a charge may publish from reviews alone, as “Reported by N users”, once enough reviewers raise it to clear that charge’s own published bar. That agreement rule is what replaced the human reviewer, not a model’s confidence.
There is no overall score, on purpose. A 0–99 number was published here until 2026-09-15. It was withdrawn because it discriminated too weakly to be the instrument — 44.7% of every pair of apps tied — and because a single number is a verdict where a count is an observation. What publishes instead is a row of measurements, each of which says what was counted and, where we could not look, says that instead.
Findings under One source only are real reports we do not stand behind as findings. They are shown because withholding them entirely would hide a genuine complaint, and labelled because publishing them as charges would be an accusation off a single source.
Several measurements above say “Not assessed” because no artefact we hold can answer them. A human review is what resolves those — and it can remove a favourable band as easily as add one.
