Trial converts to a charge

Scam — I did the 3 day free trial and they went ahead and charged me almost $40 even though I was still in the free trial

Dishonest app doesn’t work — The free trial charges you 5$ from the start, and you can’t change the settings in app

Scam — Scam. Listed as free but you need to sign up for their ‘3k’ day free trial and then automatically get charged $24.99 for a year. Good luck remembering to cancel if you don’t like it. :) free trial should be automatic and then ask…

Paywall with no way past it

i cant use it — so i downloaded the app for better mic quality when recording videos but it wont let me use the app without paying yet it says its ment to be free

1★ · App Store · 2025-11-19

Can’t even use without paying — Don’t show yourself as free if there isn’t even a single free feature…

2★ · App Store · 2025-05-18

Absolutely not free.. — That’s extremely disappointing and misleading to be labeling your app as free when it most certainly is not. And I’ve read your loophole response of “Our app is free….you can download it onto your phone for free”…

How a review signal works

Automated, review-derived, and always superseded by a human review.

A review signal is produced automatically from public app reviews by a classifier — never by a hands-on Appworthy test, and never by a human analyst. It exists so a real, not-yet-audited app can carry more than a blank “Not yet tested” listing, without ever being mistaken for an assessment.

A theme only appears above once at least 5 distinct reviews corroborate it — one angry review can never tag an app. These thresholds are published settings and may be tuned as coverage grows.

It carries no confirmed findings — reviews are one kind of evidence, and nothing here has been hands-on tested. The moment Appworthy publishes a full assessment of this app, it replaces this signal, permanently.

 Not yet human-reviewed

A human review replaces this review-derived signal with hands-on, recorded measurements.

Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
