Hard to cancel
Customer service sucks. I availed the 3 day subscription and when it ended it auto debited a week of subscription. I immediately reported it in hopes of getting a refund and cancel the subscription, I sent like 2 feedbacks and 3 emails…
This app used to be fairly good in the beginning, when I first downloaded it, but as time has progressed, it has just gotten worse. It is basically almost impossible to unsubscribe from the membership, and the membership pricing has…
love this app. its my only reading subscription at this time. $14 a week hurts tho. it's hard to get on the home page cause it drops you into stories so navigation is annoying. it's hard to cancel or suspend payment- you have to email…
Aggressive ad load
so far so good, will see if it stays that way 😃 update: its a trap! watched 4 ads and then pop up says network error" watfya know still 2 ads remaining 🤦♀️to watch 21Feb Unfortunately didn't get any better, ads after ad after ad, says…
Having to watch 6 ads to read 1 chapter is really annoying, and the fact that you can only get 2 free chapters per day sucks too. Also, those "ads" are 2 ads in 1, so it's really 12 ads to be able to read 1 chapter. Therefore, you're…
Too expensive. At least 150 bonus per chapter. Book I started reading only had 3 free chapters. Lots of ads to watch for points (not bonuses to unlock chapter), but watch 5 and you only get the points for maybe 3 if them.

How a review signal works
A review signal is produced automatically from public app reviews by a classifier — never by a hands-on Appworthy test, and never by a human analyst. It exists so a real, not-yet-audited app can carry more than a blank “Not yet tested” listing, without ever being mistaken for an assessment.
A theme only appears above once at least 5 distinct reviews corroborate it — one angry review can never tag an app. These thresholds are published settings and may be tuned as coverage grows.
It carries no confirmed findings — reviews are one kind of evidence, and nothing here has been hands-on tested. The moment Appworthy publishes a full assessment of this app, it replaces this signal, permanently.
A human review replaces this review-derived signal with hands-on, recorded measurements.
Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
