No advertising SDKs

No advertising or mediation SDK of any kind was found in the package.
What we saw: No advertising or mediation SDK among the 8 SDKs detected in the package
Developer says data deletion can be requested
Measuredfrom the store listingview evidence
The developer's data-safety disclosure on the store states that users can request deletion of their data, or the app's own text offers a way to delete the account. This restates what the developer declares; it is not a test of whether deletion works. Apple publishes no equivalent disclosure, so on an Apple-only listing only the app's own text can support it.
What we saw: The developer's store data-safety disclosure states that data deletion can be requested; we have not seen a deletion control in the app's own text

One source only — shown, not confirmed 3

A single kind of evidence. We publish these because withholding them would be the bigger distortion, and we do not treat any of them as a finding we stand behind.

Reported by users: Hard to cancel
One source onlyShown, not confirmed — the only source is user reviews.view evidence
Cancelling the subscription is blocked, hidden, multi-step, or simply does not take effect.
What we saw: Hard to cancel: raised by 10 distinct reviewers (2.3% of 431 reviews scanned)
Reported by users: Paywall blocks the basics
One source onlyShown, not confirmed — the only source is user reviews.view evidence
The core of the app — not extras — sits behind payment, or previously-free function moved behind a paywall.
What we saw: Paywall blocks the basics: raised by 8 distinct reviewers (1.9% of 431 reviews scanned)
In the app's own text: Countdown-timer purchase pressure
One source onlyShown, not confirmed — the only source is the app's own on-screen text.artefact ebd8c22f21d5…
The app's own purchase copy attaches a deadline to buying — a countdown, 'offer ends in', 'limited time' — or ships a countdown view on a purchase-screen layout.
What we saw: Deadline pressure in the app's own copy: "Offer expires in:"

Verbatim excerpts from public store reviews, shown as corroborating user reports. They are not Appworthy audit evidence, and a quotation is not proof of the finding it sits under.

Hard to cancel

The app said I was coughing for 2 hours at night, and I wanted to listen to the recording, which was only available for premium. Since I was offered a free trial, I thought that if I signed up for premium and cancelled immediately I…

I signed up for the free week and didn't really like it too much. The fact that it wants 7 nights of data to know how you sleep ends up paying for a year subscription. I have tried to cancel the subscription so I would not get charged and…

stick to regular sleep tracking devices. very easy to start, but tracking isn't the greatest, if you sleep with a fan good luck on the snoring. my watch tracks all this and much much more. Finally got it to link to my Samsung watch and…

Paywall blocks the basics

this app WAS fine for years until you whackjobs decided that smart alarm would now be a premium feature, but that I could keep it for free if I logged in. So I did, and it turns out it's not free! It's still locked behind a paywall. Did I…

5★ · Google Play · 2026-04-05

I used to be able to use the "wake up easy" alarm clock function for free, and it was incredibly handy. All of a sudden it becomes locked behind a paywall and I can't use it anymore. This is really scummy done, in my opinion.

5★ · Google Play · 2026-03-25

Feels like lately the app has more and more power drain on my phone(new)'s battery. I'm talking 40-50%, but I still use the same features as always, which haven't really changed since my last review in 2019. still never got many of the…

How the automated analysis works

Automated, corroborated, and never human-reviewed without a person.

This assessment is produced automatically. Six independent signals are read — user reviews, SDKs in the app package, the app's own on-screen text, the app manifest, the store listing and the store privacy disclosure — and each candidate finding is filed under the sources that support it.

No charge stands on one kind of evidence — with one published exception. A finding is either a measured fact that anyone can reproduce (an ad SDK is in the package; every subscription bills weekly; the privacy label omits a tracker we can see), or it is an interpretation — and an interpretation needs independent sources to agree before it reaches the catch list. The exception is a harm only users can see: a charge may publish from reviews alone, as “Reported by N users”, once enough reviewers raise it to clear that charge’s own published bar. That agreement rule is what replaced the human reviewer, not a model’s confidence.

There is no overall score, on purpose. A 0–99 number was published here until 2026-09-15. It was withdrawn because it discriminated too weakly to be the instrument — 44.7% of every pair of apps tied — and because a single number is a verdict where a count is an observation. What publishes instead is a row of measurements, each of which says what was counted and, where we could not look, says that instead.

Findings under One source only are real reports we do not stand behind as findings. They are shown because withholding them entirely would hide a genuine complaint, and labelled because publishing them as charges would be an accusation off a single source.

 Not yet human-reviewed

Several measurements above say “Not assessed” because no artefact we hold can answer them. A human review is what resolves those — and it can remove a favourable band as easily as add one.

Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
