Aggressive ad load
Takes many tries — I have to watch a lot of ads in order to get it to cast one episode. To try and cast another is also a big headache but I don’t know of an alternate app so I keep trying.
Not user friendly, constant ads, then “content not supported” — I had to Google how to even get this to work since the app on the tv looks like it’s just frozen on a QR code that asks me to buy another version of the “free” app. In trying…
No audio. Just ads with no outcome — No audio. Just forced ads with promise to load video with no actual outcome. Stuck in a repetitive loop cycle of watch an ad to load again. 👎🏼👎🏼
Misleading advertising
False Advertising — This is literally advertised as a screen mirroring app yet it makes you download another PAID app in order to screen mirror. And don’t y’all dare respond with the “thIs aPP IsN’T dESignEd tO Be a sCreEn miRRorInG aPP”…
Scam — Very limited features without paying for “pro” version. Bait and switch here.
Scam! Tries to get your credit card — I’d happily pay $50 a year for a decent app but these scum bait and switch with a ton of hoops to jump through before you can even test the app to see if it works. I gave up at the point where they…
Paywall blocks the basics
Confusing; looks like there is a free version but it doesnt work — What the heck? Why are you wasting my time? I cannot find a way to try this without paying for it, so no thanks.
Did not work - kept wanting to upgrade for $$ — Would not work. Kept asking to upgrade to Pro version. Free version is useless! Don’t get it.
The free version is garbage — The free version is garbage
How a review signal works
A review signal is produced automatically from public app reviews by a classifier — never by a hands-on Appworthy test, and never by a human analyst. It exists so a real, not-yet-audited app can carry more than a blank “Not yet tested” listing, without ever being mistaken for an assessment.
A theme only appears above once at least 5 distinct reviews corroborate it — one angry review can never tag an app. These thresholds are published settings and may be tuned as coverage grows.
It carries no confirmed findings — reviews are one kind of evidence, and nothing here has been hands-on tested. The moment Appworthy publishes a full assessment of this app, it replaces this signal, permanently.
A human review replaces this review-derived signal with hands-on, recorded measurements.
Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
