Aggressive ad load
YouTube ads are unbearable — I'm deeply grateful for the constant updates, now that YouTube's cracking down on adblockers. Didn't expect a one-time purchase to include so much maintenance.
10/10, highly recommend. — Absolutely great. I've resorted to using the browser version of YouTube after getting bombarded with ads on the app. Bought this since I missed the miniplayer. Made YouTube 100x more accessible. Many thanks!
Best money I’ve spent all year — Best money I’ve spent all year. YouTube is an actual website I can visit now instead of always trying to avoid due to the endless ads.
No ad complaints
So good! I can't believe it's a one-time purchase :) 🙏 — The developer continues to work hard to keep the extension working through YouTube backend changes. I had a question and emailed them, and they responded in a day, and were very…
Essential Extension — Been using Vinegar for a few years. Does what it says: native controls and no ads. I do hope the developer is able to bring back AirPlay compatibility.
Best Ad Block + Audio Only for IOS — I don’t normally write reviews but when something just works and does what’s advertised, credit is due. I use firefox + ublock on all my desktops but I wasn’t sure what to do with IOS. Vinegar + Baking…
How a review signal works
A review signal is produced automatically from public app reviews by a classifier — never by a hands-on Appworthy test, and never by a human analyst. It exists so a real, not-yet-audited app can carry more than a blank “Not yet tested” listing, without ever being mistaken for an assessment.
A theme only appears above once at least 5 distinct reviews corroborate it — one angry review can never tag an app. These thresholds are published settings and may be tuned as coverage grows.
It carries no confirmed findings — reviews are one kind of evidence, and nothing here has been hands-on tested. The moment Appworthy publishes a full assessment of this app, it replaces this signal, permanently.
A human review replaces this review-derived signal with hands-on, recorded measurements.
Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
