About this app

The 2021 Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) Treatment Guidelines are here! This universal app works well for both iPhones and iPads (iOS 12+ required). This is the most readable reference with user-defined font sizes for the iPhone, and is completely readable in both landscape and portrait modes. Also, the COMPLETE guidelines are embedded so you can educate yourself even without Internet access.

Our version of the guidelines has been one of the first apps for any provider who diagnoses and treats STIs to buy, including residents, midwives, and nurses. This app was designed and developed by a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist who understands how to quickly answer your questions about STI treatments.

Fixed a typo for parenteral treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease with Ceftriaxone. The correct dosage is 1 g every 24 hours (and NOT every 12 hours). As a reminder, licensed healthcare providers should exercise their professional judgment in evaluating any information in the app, and we encourage them to confirm the information made available here with other sources before undertaking any treatment based on it. A PDF version of the official guidelines is included in this application for reference.
