About this app

Ask Anything, Anytime.

Your Pocket AI CFI puts a flight-instructor-style coach in your pocket — along with checkride oral practice, ATC radio training, FAA-style knowledge tests, and an offline CFI you can take to the airplane. Whether you are working toward a Private Pilot certificate, Instrument Rating, Commercial certificate, or CFI, you get 24/7 study guidance in one app.

Training only. Verify every answer with current FAR/AIM, your instructor, and official materials before you fly. Not for inflight operations.

Key Features:

AI CFI Chat: Ask the way you would in the airplane — weather mins, currency, a clearance, a system. Get a short CFI-style answer with FAR/AIM cites. Paste a METAR or TAF and get it decoded. The CFI remembers your plan, home field, and what you asked it to remember.

Checkride Oral: Sit across from a DPE-style oral for Private, Instrument, Commercial, and CFI.…

Version 4.0.1 · 2026-09-26
AI CFI just got a major upgrade. • ATC Radio Practice — Practice realistic radio calls, readbacks, and common ATC scenarios. • Mock Oral Exams — Prepare for your checkride with interactive oral exam practice across key FAA knowledge areas. • Offline AI Chat — Chat with AI CFI even without an internet connection, making it easier to study wherever you are. • More flexible subscriptions — Getting started and staying on track with training is now simpler. We’ve also made performance improvements and fixed bugs throughout the app. Thanks for training with AI CFI — more is coming.

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
