About this app

Do you struggle to keep track of your spending? Are you tired of constantly overspending and not knowing where your money goes?

Introducing Allowance, the app that helps you take control of your finances. With Allowance, you can set a budget and term length for your spending, and track your transactions to make sure you stay within your budget.

Here's how it works:

1. Set your budget: Choose the amount of money you want to spend in the next term. This can be a week, a month, or any other period of time that suits you.

2. Set your term length: Choose the length of your budget term. This is the amount of time your budget will last for, and can be adjusted to suit your needs.

3. Track your spending: Every time you make a transaction, enter the amount in the app. Allowance will deduct it from your budget and show you how much you have left to spend.

Really, really good! Clean, no ads, great design... It has everything, AND it's open source?! You nailed it! The only thing I'd add would be some haptics for the buttons, I just happen to be a huge fan of haptics, so a toggle for that…

5★ · Google Play · 2023-08-03

App is really smooth and works amazing with system theming. Able to undo any accident prices and can fix or change whatever to customize to your needs. No ads or nothing, very solid system like feeling application.

5★ · Google Play · 2023-08-01

The App is recommended by one of my friends and It's simply Awesome. I have been using this daily to track my monthly expenses and it really helps me to track where I am spending more money and keep me aware. Thanks for this wonderful App…

A sampled review illustrates one person’s experience. It does not establish a finding on its own.

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

How a review signal works

A review signal is produced automatically from public app reviews by a classifier — never by a hands-on Appworthy test, and never by a human analyst. It exists so a real, not-yet-audited app can carry more than a blank “Not yet tested” listing, without ever being mistaken for an assessment.

A theme only appears above once at least 5 distinct reviews corroborate it — one angry review can never tag an app. These thresholds are published settings and may be tuned as coverage grows.

It carries no confirmed findings — reviews are one kind of evidence, and nothing here has been hands-on tested. The moment Appworthy publishes a full assessment of this app, it replaces this signal, permanently.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review replaces this review-derived signal with hands-on, recorded measurements. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
