About this app

Aperture - Light Meter: Simplifying Film Photography with Precision

Aperture - Light Meter is a minimalist, intuitive tool designed to help film photographers achieve perfect exposure and document their creative process. By calculating the ideal aperture and shutter speed based on your film’s ISO sensitivity, the app ensures every shot is perfectly balanced. Featuring integrated Zone System metering, a continuous film frame counter, and a visual shot log gallery, Aperture makes it easy to track your rolls, evaluate contrast, and log settings for future analog projects.

Key Features:

Accurate Light Metering & Zone System: Compute precise aperture and shutter speed settings based on your film’s ISO sensitivity.…

Version 2.6 · 2026-10-19
Track every shot like you would with a film camera. This version introduces a new Film Frame Counter to help you keep track of exactly where you are on each roll. Film Frame Counter The counter tracks your shots from frame 0 to 36, automatically wrapping for a new roll. Shooting longer rolls or bulk-loaded film? The count continues beyond frame 36. Smart Counter Sync Change the frame number manually, and the counter adjusts automatically so your next shot continues with the following frame. Improved Photo Details ISO, aperture, and shutter speed are now neatly positioned at the top of the photo detail view, making your exposure settings easier to check at a glance. More Reliable Photo…

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
