About this app

The best AI recording hardware?

You may already own it.

Turn your Apple Watch into your all-day AI recorder. Capture the words and the life around them. Give AI more than a question. Give it the context to understand your day.

ALL DAY. ON YOUR WRIST.

Conversations at work. Ideas on a walk. Words from someone you love. Start recording on your Watch, tap to mark a moment, and revisit it on your iPhone.

Built for long sessions: in an Auday team test, Apple Watch Series 11 recorded for 12.5 hours with 49% battery remaining.

MORE THAN A RECORDING.

When your heart raced, what were you talking about? When things got tense, what was going on?

Bring conversations together with heart rate, stress estimates, activities, sleep and places. Follow body cues back to the original words. See more of the story, not just the transcript.…

Version 1.0.7 · 2026-10-25
Auday 1.0.7 includes all improvements from 1.0.6, with additional fixes for self-hosted transcription and easier troubleshooting. SELF-HOSTED TRANSCRIPTION FIXES Improved compatibility with word timestamps from self-hosted services. With updated compatible servers, Auday can resume retrieving results from existing transcription tasks after an interruption and use lossless FLAC uploads to reduce data transfer while preserving the original audio samples. Older servers retain WAV support. Background execution remains controlled by iOS. EASIER TROUBLESHOOTING AND CHAT MANAGEMENT Expanded technical debug exports on iPhone and Apple Watch help investigate transcription, AI and sync issues.…

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
