About this app

Auribook is a focused, standalone Apple Watch app for listening to audiobooks, podcasts, and relaxing sounds on the go.

Discover and download classic public domain audiobooks right from your watch, no server required. Or connect your own library through Audiobookshelf, OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox to browse, download, and listen offline — directly from Apple Watch.

Google Drive and Dropbox support are currently in beta. They are available for testing and everyday use, but some files, formats, or account setups may not work perfectly yet. OneDrive and Audiobookshelf are the recommended options if you want the most stable experience.

Why you will love it

* Robust offline playback: Download reliably to Apple Watch for runs, commutes, flights, sleep, and phone-free moments.…

Jellyfin on your wrist, listening stats, and Double Tap. • New: Jellyfin support (beta). Sign in to your Jellyfin server and download audiobooks from your Books or Music libraries straight to Apple Watch. Each folder or album becomes one book, with its cover and chapters. • Sign in with Quick Connect: Auribook shows a short code, you enter it in Jellyfin on your phone or computer, and the watch signs in by itself. No password typing on the watch. • Your listening position syncs with Jellyfin in both directions, also after listening offline. The Jellyfin book list shows your progress, puts the books you're listening to on top and sorts by recently added, recently listened, title or author. •…

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
