The app contains the descriptions from Wikipedia for all 2,380 bird species that occur in Southern Africa.
In addition to the texts, the app also includes a picture for each bird species, a map showing the distribution for just under half, and more than 250 audio samples.
Once installed, the app works fully offline. No internet connection is required, making it ideal for the African bush.
The free version includes the 30 most important species.
All species can be unlocked by country through in-app purchases.…

Appworthy
birds-from-southern-africaWhat the stores publish. Store ratings are the stores’ numbers, not Appworthy’s, and are never averaged across stores.
From the store listing. Billing terms are read from each purchase’s name — the stores don’t publish them — so treat them as a strong hint, not a disclosure.
These are really on sale; we just can’t tell from the name whether they recur.
Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.
