About this app

Check ID is the fastest, most private, reliable way to scan and verify driver's licenses and IDs for events, venues, and guest management.

It reads the barcode on a driver’s license or state ID, checks the birth date and expiry date against your rules, and gives your staff a clear answer. What it keeps is a record that the check happened, never the details of who was checked.

WHAT A SCAN NEVER KEEPS

No name. No date of birth. No address. No ID number. No picture of the ID. Not in a scan record, on any plan. Guest lists are the one place names live, and only the names your staff add on purpose.

NO AD TRACKERS

No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, no advertising identifier, and no ads. The app links two open-source libraries, both for reading passport chips. Our own product analytics tell us which features get used and what broke.…
