About this app

Do you want to get better at chess, improve your tactical vision or simply train your brain? Then this app is the perfect choice for you!

- You will play a huge collection of mates, endgame studies, opening traps and practical chess positions. Just like in real games, you never know what you will get.

- Your tactics rating will be constantly measured. The better you are, the harder the puzzles will get. You can also track your performance with a rating graph.

- The computer engine Stockfish 9 will help you analyze the puzzles. This chess engine is much stronger than the best human chess grandmasters.

- A simple layout will let you focus on the important. Simply slide to the right with your finger to analyze the previous tactic puzzle.

It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner at tactics or a chess grandmaster, this app will keep you happy for a long time!…

Thank you sir for making such a wonderful, fast, light and ad-free app! Every chess puzzle contained in this app is not only challenging but have been taken from real games, some having very sharp tactical lines. The ability to analyse…

Great app! Simple, functional. No garbage. Set it to continue on correct move(s) or to stop. I set it to stop. Let's you analyse or even play the position, so, you can fully understand it. Also keeps an 'elo' score for you. Have no idea…

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

How a review signal works

A review signal is produced automatically from public app reviews by a classifier — never by a hands-on Appworthy test, and never by a human analyst. It exists so a real, not-yet-audited app can carry more than a blank “Not yet tested” listing, without ever being mistaken for an assessment.

A theme only appears above once at least 5 distinct reviews corroborate it — one angry review can never tag an app. These thresholds are published settings and may be tuned as coverage grows.

It carries no confirmed findings — reviews are one kind of evidence, and nothing here has been hands-on tested. The moment Appworthy publishes a full assessment of this app, it replaces this signal, permanently.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review replaces this review-derived signal with hands-on, recorded measurements. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
