About this app

Chores & Allowance Bot is an easy and versatile way to keep track of your family chores, allowance, and savings goals.

New in version 5:

• Completely rebuilt: faster and smoother.

• Apple Watch app: kids see and check off their next chore on their wrist.

• Add a child's iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch with a 6-digit code, with no need to share your password.

• Widgets for your Home Screen and Lock Screen: kids check off their next chore right from the widget.

• Siri and Shortcuts: "What's my next chore?", check off a chore, record a purchase or a deposit, and more.

• A new Help box: ask a question and it shows you, step by step, where to tap.

• Tips, dark mode, and desktop widgets on Apple silicon Macs.…

Store update history

Each store’s release notes, as the developer wrote them. They are the developer’s words, not ours.

App Store

Version 5.0.2 · 2026-10-21
• Optimized for iPhone Duo, folded and unfolded. • Significantly improved the app's speed and server response time. • With a larger iPhone text size, dates and chore names no longer overlap or get cut off. • Typing an amount replaces the “0.00” right away. • On Payments, a line you tick Approve or Ignore stays on screen, ticked, until you tap Apply. • The Ledger’s older history loads incrementally as you scroll. • Coming back to the app keeps what you were doing, such as payments not yet applied. • Saving a rotating chore no longer moves its rotation on. • A child’s passcode unlocks only the one thing it was asked for. • Internet Image Search is easy to read in dark mode.

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
