Introducing Ciro Marchetti’s Fin de Siecle Kipper! Kipper cards are a cartomancy deck long cherished in Germany. Like the Lenormand, Europeans have been reading with Kipper decks since the middle of the 19th century. Now Ciro Marchetti has created a contemporary heir to the Kipper tradition, accompanied by card meanings from three expert Kipper readers.
Ciro’s elegant interpretation retains the cards’ antique charm, while expanding the deck’s focus with three supplemental cards. Fin de Siecle Kipper cards speak to human experience across all echelons of society. Set in Victorian England, here you will find the story of the workers as well as the wealthy. Ciro’s lavish images remain true to Kipper’s core message, while addressing darker aspects of life during the early Industrial Revolution.…
