About this app

CodeIME is an iOS keyboard built for developers working from a phone. It keeps the familiar English keyboard layout, then adds fast access to terminal keys, code symbols, navigation controls, and command predictions.

Use it when connecting to servers, editing files, running shell commands, or working inside terminal apps. CodeIME includes an always-visible predictive command row, quick modes for navigation and symbols, plus sticky Ctrl, Alt, and Shift modifiers for actions like Ctrl-C and Shift-Tab.…

Version 1.1 · 2026-10-02
CodeIME 1.1 adds a real Shift key and a smoother typing feel. • Shift on the letter rows and in the NAV rail: tap for one capital, double-tap for caps lock, or hold while typing • Shift-Tab, plus Shift, Ctrl, and Alt with the arrow keys for word jumps and selections in terminal apps • Hold delete or an arrow key to repeat it • Key pop-ups, press highlights, and no dead zones between keys • A second symbol page that covers every ASCII symbol • Smarter command predictions that put the most likely match first • Layouts tuned for iPhone landscape and iPad • A Try It field in the app shows exactly what each key sends

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
