About this app

DisasterNet — Real-time Earthquake, Wildfire, and Fault Line Tracker

See our planet in motion. DisasterNet brings together official data from the world's leading geological and space agencies into one fast, beautiful, privacy-first app for iPhone and iPad.

Whether you live in a seismic zone, follow news from home while abroad, or simply care about what is happening on Earth, DisasterNet gives you a clear, trustworthy, real-time view — with a feature no other app offers.

WHAT MAKES DISASTERNET DIFFERENT: LIVE ACTIVE FAULT LINES

This is the feature you will not find anywhere else. DisasterNet draws the world's active tectonic fault lines directly on the map — the very cracks in the Earth's crust where earthquakes are born.…

Version 1.0.6 · 2026-07-03
The biggest DisasterNet update yet. LIVE ACTIVE FAULT LINES (NEW) See the world's active tectonic faults right on the map — the cracks in the Earth's crust where earthquakes are born. Instantly check whether you or your loved ones live near an active fault. Toggle the layer on or off anytime, and pick your detail level: Major, Moderate, or All. JAPAN EARTHQUAKES VIA JMA (NEW) We added the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), Japan's official source, for fast and precise coverage of every earthquake in and around one of the most seismically active regions on Earth. DisasterNet now draws from four official earthquake agencies: USGS, EMSC, AFAD, and JMA. Also in this update: - Smoother,…

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
