About this app
Eclipse Navigator helps you prepare to watch and photograph a solar eclipse. Find a suitable viewing spot, check the local conditions and see how the eclipse will unfold there. Plan your photos and rehearse with spoken alerts, so you can focus on what you want to see and capture during the eclipse.
CHOOSE YOUR VIEWING SPOT
Explore the eclipse path and see where totality lasts longest. For each location, find out when the eclipse begins, how long it lasts and how much of the Sun will be obscured. You can also check the Sun’s position and whether hills will block your view.
COMPARE YOUR CHANCES OF A CLEAR VIEW
What are conditions usually like at your viewing spot around the time of the eclipse? Eclipse Navigator combines 25 years of cloud cover and aerosol data, including dust and air pollution, to show average conditions for the date and time of the eclipse.…

Method and limits
What a missing label means
Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.
Limits of this report
- A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
- Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
- Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
- A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
