About this app

We go beyond the news to offer rigorous analysis on a wide range of topics that affect our audiences' lives, such as economics, legislation and legal matters, migration, politics, and current events.

In this app you can also:

- Use our products that provide transparent economic information (informal foreign exchange market reference rates) and legal information (Legalis).

- Explore our "Special Features" to learn more about complex topics.

- Subscribe to newsletters with exclusive information.

- Stay up-to-date with all our publications and receive headlines on your mobile phone via notifications.

• Fixed a crash when opening the app for the first time. • Links and notifications take you to the right article, even if the app was in the background. • When you open something in another language, we ask whether to switch the app and notifications. • The app opens in your usual language. • Offline, you'll see the latest front page and the articles you already opened. • Refreshing no longer erases your preferences or your SaMi chat. • Fixes for email links, fullscreen video, sharing, and the back gesture.

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
