About this app
Our app Field Recorder makes your phone a perfect alternative for an additional recording device: lightweight and always with you
With extensive features like a recording equalizer and limiter, it's the best choice for anyone who wants high-quality audio recordings with built-in microphones, external microphones, or USB sound cards
The audio parameters can be adjusted in more ways than with any other audio recorder. And they can be saved as presets and switched between in a flash
Immediately after recording, you can e.g. send a concert recording to friends, upload a podcast to the web, or an interview to a radio station, or archive a meeting…
Use the full potential of your microphones: Record band rehearsals, voice notes, lectures, dictation, monitoring, eavesdropping, phone calls, sound recordings, ambience, snoring, animal sounds, audio logs……

Independent evidence report
Evidence and review signals
This is where the page changes from an app-store listing into an evidence report: findings, important reviews, pricing and a dated history.
What we measured
Each line is a measurement published as a measurement, never a verdict.
Each line is a measurement, published as a measurement. Where we have not looked, the line says so rather than reading as a zero.

Five-star share of ratings
65–79% five-star
Arithmetic on the stores' own published rating counts. It says nothing about why the ratings fall where they do.
In the package we scanned
No package has been scanned for this app, so nothing is published about what it ships. That is an absence of evidence about the app, not a finding about it.
