You open the chest freezer, dig to the bottom, and find a frosted bag with no date on it. Was that chicken from March or October? Did you make that bolognese three months ago or six? When in doubt, you throw it out. Again. Glacko tells you what is in your freezer, how long it has been there, and what to eat before it turns.

Product name, drawer, quantity, that is all. The freezing date is set to today automatically. Tap "Freeze" and it is saved. Even with cold hands, even with a child calling you.

The "Use up" tab shows you in one second what has been in your freezer the longest, sorted by age. The frost gauge shifts from icy blue to amber as a product gets older. You see at a glance what to take out tonight.…
