About this app

Turn the roads you've traveled into a record you can see.

GoLog records your movements in the background with low power use, turning them into maps, timelines, and stats — commuting, hiking, or traveling, every leg of the journey stays clear and easy to trace.

QUIET, UNOBTRUSIVE RECORDING

• Low-power background location recording, with Standard mode and Power saving mode

• Smart interval: recognizes walking, cycling, and driving, and adjusts sampling density on its own

• Works with Shortcuts and Wi-Fi automations to toggle recording

• A widget shows today's footprints at a glance…

About subscriptions (important) GoLog switched to a subscription model with 1.11.0. If you downloaded GoLog before that version, you are a Lifetime Member: every feature stays yours forever — no subscription, nothing to pay, and nothing to do. If anything goes wrong, please contact the developer. GoLog comes in a free version and GoLog Pro: advanced features such as Track Completion, the full Dashboard range, the Mapbox map engine, track coloring by speed or activity type, unlimited trips and marked places, moving a point's location, and power saving mode are part of GoLog Pro, available as a monthly / yearly subscription or a one-time purchase. Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
