About this app

You do not play the games. You sit in the chair above them.

Hardwood GM is a text-based basketball management simulation about the part of the sport nobody films: the phone calls, the contract years, the conversation with a franchise player who wants to know what the plan is and will not accept a non-answer.

THE LOCKER ROOM IS THE GAME

Every player has a personality: an Alpha Dog who needs the ball, a Company Man who buys in, a Ring Chaser counting the years he has left. Praise the wrong one and it lands as condescension. Ignore a complaint long enough and it hardens into a trade demand, then into a player who stops showing up. You get four Action Points a day. You cannot talk to everyone, and the game knows it.…

App Store

Version 2.6.1 · 2026-10-25
Better negotiating, more scouting and a quieter start, thanks to your reviews. COUNTEROFFERS When a player would turn down an extension or a free agent offer, he now tells you what he would sign for. One tap puts that deal on the sliders. Extensions always say why he said no. CLEARER TRADES The trade screen always shows how the other club values the deal, how far apart you are and what would close the gap. MORE SCOUTING You get 5 more scouting points every week, so you can work up more of the draft class. A QUIETER START Your first season is about learning the job, with no offers in the way. When something runs out, you see when it comes back instead of a store. TRUER SEASONS Overtime…

 What this app sells

From the store listing. Billing terms are read from each purchase’s name — the stores don’t publish them — so treat them as a strong hint, not a disclosure.

This list is cut off. Apple shows at most 10 in-app purchases, and this app is at the limit — so it very likely sells more than we can see.

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
