SMART SEARCH 2.0

Search by code, condition, clinical abbreviation, or everyday term. Try HTN, heart attack, left cataract, or stage 3 CKD. Combine code families with words, such as E11 neuropathy or M25 left knee.

Smart Search considers diagnosis descriptions, official Alphabetical Index terms, synonyms, abbreviations, and relevant coding notes. It recognizes explicit laterality, stage, and encounter terms and helps recover common spelling mistakes. Selected results include a brief explanation of why they matched.
