About this app

Welcome to the thrilling world of Idle Racer, where you can merge your creativity and passion for driving to build your unique car and participate in intense races against formidable opponents.

In Idle Racer, you start the game with a basic car that you can upgrade using the in-game currency earned simply by tapping the screen. The more you tap and click, the more in-game money you earn. You can spend this money on purchasing new parts for your car, such as engines, tires, spoilers, and much more. You can also merge two parts of the same level to create a higher-level part, which will increase the speed and power of your car.

Stop by the garage and personalize your car by choosing from a wide range of parts, colors and styles - make it truly unique!

Feel the adrenaline rush as you drift around corners and speed past your opponents. Win races and earn rewards!…

Independent evidence report

Evidence and review signals

This is where the page changes from an app-store listing into an evidence report: findings, important reviews, pricing and a dated history.

Automated analysis in progress

Which version this describes

When we ran this analysis, and what the store lists now.

We cannot tell which version of the app this analysis describes. It was run 2026-10-04 , and the app may have changed since.

The store currently lists version 0.9.275, updated 2025-10-22.

What we measured

Each line is a measurement published as a measurement, never a verdict.

How these are measured

Each line is a measurement, published as a measurement. Where we have not looked, the line says so rather than reading as a zero.

Themes reported by reviewers
1 theme reported
Counted from the reviews we have read for this app. "No theme reported" means no theme reached our reporting threshold — it is not a finding that nothing is wrong with this app, and we do not say it is.
Five-star share of ratings
65–79% five-star
Arithmetic on the stores' own published rating counts. It says nothing about why the ratings fall where they do.

In the package we scanned

From the package we downloaded and read — version 0.9.275, scanned 2026-10-04.

Permissions Android classifies as dangerous
None requested
Counted against the eighteen permissions listed in collect-package.ts. A dangerous permission is one Android asks the user to grant; requesting one is not itself a finding.
Analytics or tracking SDKs in the scanned package
3 or more found
Advertising SDKs in the scanned package
10 or more found
Counted as distinct SDKs in the package we scanned. One mediation bundle can contribute several, so this is not a count of advertisers.

What the analysis found

App-specific findings, grouped by what each one rests on. How they are graded lives on its own page.

Methodology

The catch list 2

Charges we publish at a strength we stand behind: measured from an artefact, agreed by independent sources, or reported by enough users to clear that charge's own published bar.

Multiple ad networks bundled
Measuredfrom SDKs in the app packageartefact cc3f8fc35911…
The package embeds several distinct advertising or mediation SDKs — a stack built for ad volume, not for a single house ad.
What we saw: Bundles 13 distinct ad networks / mediation SDKs: Amazon Publisher Services, AppLovin MAX, Chartboost, Fyber / Digital Turbine Exchange and 9 more
Aggressive ad load
2 independent sources agreefrom user reviews and the app's own on-screen textartefact cc3f8fc35911…
Advertising volume or placement that interrupts normal use: ads between every action, unskippable or forced full-screen ads.
What we saw: Progress is gated behind watching an ad: "Watch a video to earn a reward!"

Positive evidence 1

Things this app does right, published at the same strengths as the catch list.

Developer says data deletion can be requested
Measuredfrom the store listingview evidence
The developer's data-safety disclosure on the store states that users can request deletion of their data, or the app's own text offers a way to delete the account. This restates what the developer declares; it is not a test of whether deletion works. Apple publishes no equivalent disclosure, so on an Apple-only listing only the app's own text can support it.
What we saw: The developer's store data-safety disclosure states that data deletion can be requested; we have not seen a deletion control in the app's own text

One source only — shown, not confirmed 1

A single kind of evidence. We publish these because withholding them would be the bigger distortion, and we do not treat any of them as a finding we stand behind.

In the app's own text: Hard to cancel
One source onlyShown, not confirmed — the only source is the app's own on-screen text.artefact cc3f8fc35911…
Cancelling the subscription is blocked, hidden, multi-step, or simply does not take effect.
What we saw: Sells a subscription in-app but ships no cancel or manage-subscription text of its own, leaving the store's settings as the only exit

Aggressive ad load
“It's not a bad game, but the glitches are very clear. your car can just be on its side the entire time. Your car bounces up and down a bunch. but other than that, the balancing also sucks. the car handling is terrible, you're always under…”

Aggressive ad load
“Get 3 or 4 Ads every minute, absolutely disgraceful. can't progress without them after 5 minutes of gameplay either because they tied it to Ad rewards! Acts more of a cookie clicker merger than idle game it's all wonky”

Aggressive ad load
“too many ads, i just installed it, i think i pressed the buy item like not even 5 times and i already got ads. Do not download if you do not want to waste more time watching ads than playing the actual game. we have to normalize that…”
