About this app

Your iPhone mic is better than you think. Software's been holding it back.

LudyRec is the audiophile-grade recorder that unlocks your iPhone's true audio potential. While every other recording app applies aggressive compression, noise reduction, and gain control that destroys your audio — LudyRec gives you Pure Mode: raw, unprocessed signal capture that professionals demand.

PURE MODE — RAW SIGNAL RECORDING

• Bypasses iOS automatic gain control (AGC), noise reduction, and high-pass filter

• Captures the true, uncompressed signal from your iPhone microphone

• Perfect for field recording, music capture, and any situation where audio fidelity matters…

Version 1.1.3 · 2026-09-03
Apple Watch fixed for real. For some users the companion app crashed the moment it opened — we found the root cause and eliminated it. Stereo that stays stereo. Your channel choice no longer resets when you return to the record screen, and stereo presets now record true stereo on supported microphones. Interruptions handled properly. When a call or Siri takes over, recording pauses with a clear explanation and picks up again once the interruption ends — no more silently lost audio. Safer with external microphones. If your Bluetooth or USB mic disconnects, LudyRec pauses and lets you decide how to continue instead of quietly switching to the built-in mic. Also in this update: a crash fix…

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
