About this app
Nakasendo Route Map Navigator is a route-guidance app for walking the Nakasendo, one of the two great highways of Edo-era Japan. Follow the route on the map, see where you are, and move from one post town to the next without getting lost.
▶ Navigate the route on the map
The full Nakasendo route and all 69 post towns are plotted on the map, so you always know where you are and which way to go. Check the distance and the walking, cycling or driving time to the next station, and plan your day on the trail.
▶ Distances & times to each station
See the distance between stations together with walking, cycling and driving times, so you can keep a comfortable pace.
▶ In-depth post-town notes (handy extras)
Every town comes with notes on its history and highlights. Tap any place name to look it up on Google or ask an AI for more context as you walk.…

Method and limits
What a missing label means
Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.
Limits of this report
- A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
- Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
- Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
- A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
