About this app

Niyat is your daily Muslim companion. Read and listen to the Quran, keep up with prayer, fall asleep to recitation, and put an ayah between you and the apps that steal your time. Everything you need for a steady practice, in one calm place.

AYAH LOCK

Pick the apps that pull you in. When you open one, Niyat asks you to read an ayah first. Read it, and the app opens. Once a day or every time, your choice. A few seconds of Quran before the scroll, every day.

FALL ASLEEP TO THE QURAN

Choose a surah, set the sleep timer, and end the night with recitation instead of a feed. Word-by-word highlighting during the day, a gentle fade at night.

WAKE UP FOR FAJR

A Fajr alarm built for the hardest prayer. Set it before or after Fajr, choose recitation, a chime, or a rising tone, and turn on the ten-step walk if you need help getting out of bed.…

Store update history

Each store’s release notes, as the developer wrote them. They are the developer’s words, not ours.

App Store

Version 1.12.0 · 2026-10-29
• Make dua for someone: send a dua card, and family and friends can say Ameen together. • Read the Qur’an for someone: dedicate a shared read to a loved one, and share a card when you pray. • My duas: write your own duas, mark them answered, and set gentle reminders. • Tasbih upgrades: tap anywhere to count, choose your count (33, 99 or your own), turn haptics on or off, and see the meaning and source of each dhikr. • The 99 Names of Allah, now in Library. • Ask now shows the sources it checked, and can show how the schools of thought differ. • You can keep reading in Scroll after you reach your daily goal. • Niyat is now available in German. • Fixes and polish throughout, including dark…

 What this app sells

From the store listing. Billing terms are read from each purchase’s name — the stores don’t publish them — so treat them as a strong hint, not a disclosure.

This list is cut off. Apple shows at most 10 in-app purchases, and this app is at the limit — so it very likely sells more than we can see.

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
