Open Road Ace is the pacing app for open-road racing — Big Bend Open Road Race, Silver State Classic, Sandhills Open Road, and the rest of the calendar. It tells you, in real time, exactly how to drive the course to hit your target class speed within a fraction of a second.
A NEW LOOK, BUILT FOR THE DASH
Version 2.3 brings a redesigned interface made to be read at speed from a mount: a flat dark ground, one big number, and a pace ribbon where a small car (you) chases a rabbit (your target). Green means speed up, red means slow down. Before the start you see your distance to the start line. The screen stays at full brightness while the app is open.

Rabbit fix for BBORR and NORC: the rabbit now crosses the finish line right on your target time. It used to pace to the end of the course map, which runs a little past the surveyed finish line, so riding it put you about half a second early. Your scored result was always correct. Two GPS units: the unit with the best signal now times the finish, and the live delta is smoother when both are connected.
