About this app

Palettely turns the colors around you into palettes you can use.

Point your camera or pick a photo and Palettely finds its real dominant colors, names every shade and tells you the mood they set. Drag a dot to fine-tune, tap to add a color, and switch between Dominant, Vibrant and Muted.

SEE COLOR LIVE

Open the live camera and watch a five-color palette glide as you move. Freeze it when it feels right.

EVERY COLOR, EXPLAINED

Each palette has its own page: color names with HEX, RGB, HSL and OKLCH values, sliders to make it lighter, moodier, more vivid or warmer, and real mock-ups on a poster, an app screen, an outfit and a room.

DESIGN FOR EVERY EYE

WCAG contrast ratings for text on every color, plus previews for protanopia, deuteranopia, tritanopia and monochrome vision.

LOCK WHAT YOU LOVE

The generator keeps the colors you lock and rerolls the rest.…

Store update history

Each store’s release notes, as the developer wrote them. They are the developer’s words, not ours.

App Store

Version 1.1.0 · 2026-10-23
Palettely 1.1 is our biggest update yet. • Live camera: point your phone and watch the palette change in real time. • Smarter extraction: real dominant colors from your photo, with a magnifier, Dominant, Vibrant and Muted modes, and the mood they set. • Your library: save any palette, sort into collections, search by name, mood or #hex. • Palette pages: color names, HEX, RGB, HSL and OKLCH, tune lighter, moodier or warmer, contrast ratings, color-blind previews and mock-ups. • Generator: lock the colors you love, drag to reorder, 3 to 8 colors, undo and history. • Recolor any photo with a palette. • Mood boards: start from a palette, layers, story and PDF export, subject cut-outs on iOS…

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
