About this app

The ParksnPeaks app allows (Australian & NZ) amateur radio operators to alert, spot, log and chase portable radio activity.

There are many types of activities, World Wide Flora and Fauna (WWFF), Summits on the Air (SOTA), Parks on the Air (POTA), Silos on the Air (SiOTA). ZL on the Air (ZLOTA), HEMA. SOTA is an award scheme for radio amateurs and shortwave listeners that encourages portable operation in mountainous areas.

WWFF is an international program where Amateur radio operators are encouraged to operate portable from designated nature parks and protected nature areas.

The Parks & Peaks app brings a convenient interface for these activities to the iOS user, both activator and chasers alike.…

1. Fixed the date/time screen where Now & Done buttons crashed the app. 2. Added a Now button to the QSO log screens (for current date/time) so that users can skip the extra step of having to select a UTC Date/Time from a different screen. Note, the UTC Date/Time screen is still available. 3. Tidied up Download sites in Settings. It now displays New next to an Award when there has been an update. This was not working properly before. 4. Fixed Find Sites where sites with distances beyond the radius were showing in the list.
