About this app

** Featured on TechCrunch, Daring Fireball, iMore, 9to5Mac, BGR, MacRumors & more! **

Ask Petey a question from your Apple Watch and read the answer on your wrist. No phone needed, no waiting for a screen to light up. Petey runs as its own Watch app, with a complication for your watch face so an answer is one tap away.

Petey is also on iPhone and iPad, and your conversations stay in sync across all three.

ON YOUR WATCH

• Ask by voice or scribble, read the answer right there

• Scroll long answers with the Digital Crown

• Have the answer read out loud

• Send an answer to your phone to use it in another app

• Add Petey as a complication for one-tap access…

App Store

Version 3.1.5 · 2026-09-08
Fixed scrolling through answers on Apple Watch with the Digital Crown. When a request fails you now see why, instead of Petey thinking forever. Adding your own OpenAI API key is clearer: better validation, and a plain message when a key works but has no credits. Restore Purchases shows progress and tells you if something went wrong. Bug reports from the app now include the diagnostics we need to help. Improved connection reliability.

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
