About this app

Everyone wants to take great photos, yet many photos look "flat." That flatness usually comes down to one thing: the light. Photography is the art of using light, and landscape photography is the art of using natural light. That's why landscape photographers chase the light — the moment when the Sun, the Moon, or the Milky Way and stars hit the best angle or the ideal position. Our other app, PlanIt Pro / PlanIt Earth, gives you a powerful tool for pre-planning these moments. But on location everything changes — you're racing the light, with no time to fiddle with your phone. That's why we created PlanIt Live: the best experience for photographers in the field.

PlanIt Live isn't only for professionals. Anyone with a camera — even a phone camera — can benefit, and so can anyone who simply wants to witness a beautiful scene under ideal light.…

Store update history

Each store’s release notes, as the developer wrote them. They are the developer’s words, not ours.

App Store

Version 1.6.1 · 2026-10-19
• Home-screen widgets: three widgets for your home screen: Date & Moon, Sun & Moon, and Milky Way. • Real Moon in AR: the Moon in AR now shows its real surface, lit to tonight's phase. • Sun and Moon size in AR: AR draws the Sun and Moon at their true size, so you can see how much of the frame they fill. A new switch enlarges them when you just want to find them. • Clock and date formats: your 12-hour and date-order settings now apply everywhere, including the compass title, the share card and the date strip. The Sun & Moon and Milky Way charts stay 24-hour. • Units: unit settings now reach every card. Some cards used to ignore them. • More accurate stars: stars in AR and Compass move…

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
