Full Sun shows you where and when the sun rises, climbs, and sets, right where you are. No numbers to decipher, no complicated maps: just the sky, the sun, and your thumb.
Swipe along the curve at the bottom of the screen and watch the sun move through the day—the sky changes color in real time, from the blue of midday to the orange of sunset. You can see at a glance what the light will be like at 6 p.m. … or at 7 a.m. tomorrow.
To find out which way to look, simply rotate your phone: a sighting cone aligns with the sun, just like a compass. Turn until you’re facing it, and you’ll know exactly which direction it will set.
Designed for:
- choosing the right patio, café, or table in the sun
- assessing the light in an apartment before signing the lease
- gardening according to the sun’s path
- never missing a beautiful sunset again
- finding the golden hour for your photos…

plein-soleilWhat the stores publish. Store ratings are the stores’ numbers, not Appworthy’s, and are never averaged across stores.
From the store listing. Billing terms are read from each purchase’s name — the stores don’t publish them — so treat them as a strong hint, not a disclosure.
These are really on sale; we just can’t tell from the name whether they recur.
Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.
Write to [email protected], or use the form. Name the finding, the app version and the evidence that needs correcting. Factual corrections are free and never depend on buying anything.
