About this app

Every siren in the country, live on a spinning globe.

Police Scanner turns real radio traffic from police, fire, and EMS agencies into a living map. Spin the photorealistic globe, find a glowing dot, tap it, and hear what's happening right now — in that city, on that system.

A LIVING GLOBE

Hundreds of radio systems across the United States — plus Canada and Australia — rendered as glowing dots on a realistic satellite globe. Dots light up when a system is live, color-coded for police, fire, EMS, and mixed systems.

LISTEN IN SECONDS

Tap a dot, tap Listen, and you're hearing real dispatch audio. No frequencies to program, no setup — the scanner does the work.

REAL CALLS, NOT STATIC

Audio comes from trunked radio systems captured by community-run receivers and decoded call by call. You hear clean, complete transmissions with talkgroup names — not noise.…

Police Scanner makes finding your next feed effortless. • Surprise Me — tap the new dice button to tune a random system that's on the air right now. Hold it to pick police, fire, or EMS. • Share a System — send any scanner system to a friend. The link opens right on their map, ready to listen. • Recently Played — every system you tune is one tap away in the systems list, so you can always get back to last night's feed. • What's New — updates now greet you with a quick tour of what changed (like this one!). • Report a System — dead feed or wrong info? Tell us from Settings and we'll fix it fast. • Hey Siri — name a system (“play Chicago Police on Police Scanner”), a service (“scan fire”),…

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
