About this app

Poly Metronome is a precise, modern practice tool for musicians who want more than just a click. Set any time signature, shape odd meters with accent groupings, layer polyrhythms, then save your setups as presets and setlists — or build up speed with practice sessions that track your progress.

A clean interface scales from iPhone to iPad, with a live pulse ring that shows every voice and accent at a glance — and stays in sync with the sound on the speaker, headphones, AirPods or AirPlay.…

Version 5.8 · 2026-10-11
A big update for practicing and playing live. • Time signatures for everyone: any beat count in quarter or eighth notes — 7/8, 9/8 and 12/8 are free, with accent groupings like 2+2+3 • Two-voice polyrhythms are now free • Edit presets and setlists directly; add notes, duplicate and update them • Practices can load a preset and set a goal, and the new practice log shows your streak and tempo progress • Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight: start, stop, play a preset or open a setlist hands-free • Lock Screen, Dynamic Island and Control Center controls • AirPlay picker with a latency notice, plus an option to play exclusively and show up in Now Playing • A searchable user guide with live examples,…

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
