Stop guessing at checkout. Sales Tax & Discount Calculator gives you the out-the-door total fast—after percent-off discounts, coupons, rebates, sales tax, and tip. It also handles multiple local taxes (state + county + city) and reverse calculations when you only know the final total.
Great for questions like:
• “What’s the final price after 20% off and 8.25% sales tax?”
• “How much do I pay after a coupon and tax?”
• “What’s 30% off $79.99, then tax?”
• “If the total is $108.37, what was the pre-tax price?”
• “What’s the subtotal before tax?” / “What’s the after-tax total?”
• “What’s the total with state + county + city tax?”
• “How much should I tip on $42.50 at 18%?”
• “Split this bill between 3 people (with tip).”

Minor bug fix
sales-tax-calculatorWhat the stores publish. Store ratings are the stores’ numbers, not Appworthy’s, and are never averaged across stores.
From the store listing. Billing terms are read from each purchase’s name — the stores don’t publish them — so treat them as a strong hint, not a disclosure.
These are really on sale; we just can’t tell from the name whether they recur.
Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.
