About this app

SALT PILGRIM is a 1-bit world roguelike. A thousand years after the old world's reactors melted and the sea died, you walk Tuzkum, a salt desert where water is money, faith and law. The world remembers what you do, and combat is deckbuilding.

A WORLD THAT REMEMBERS

• Eight factions hold their own grudges and alliances. Kill enough of their people and they send avengers after you. Earn their trust and they talk to you instead of attacking, and their shops charge you less.

• Share water with a faction's legend to win its favor. Its rivals will trust you less.

• Draw water in secret or open the priests' valves, and your name goes on the heresy register. Let it grow, and the city guard and the priests' enforcers come looking for you.

• Every person and animal answers when you tap them.…

Store update history

App Store

Version 1.0.8 · 2026-10-29
What's new in 1.0.8 • 15 new favours. Named people, faction rituals and the saraychi ask you to carry word, visit a shrine or bring down a boss. Bekzat the tinker waits in the starting village, and you may meet Sarbaz Aybar on floors 13–15. • Many more rumours and old tales. Rumours change from run to run, and some retell what really happened earlier in yours. • Each faction tells the old quarrels from its own side. • New Kiyik faction portrait. • Fixed a crash when throwing at an enemy right above you. • Field card text now matches what the cards do: they skip bosses, and throws can also hit enemies you've only heard. • Fixed "1 fights" and "1 uses" to read "1 fight" and "1 use".

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
