About this app

Seconds is an interval timer for HIIT, Tabata, EMOM, circuits and any workout built from timed intervals. It calls each interval out loud, keeps running with the screen off, and runs on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

Apple has featured it, and Joe Wicks, The Body Coach, has said it is the fitness app he uses more than any other.

BUILD ANY WORKOUT

- Start from a HIIT, Tabata or circuit template, or build a timer from scratch with sets, rounds and intervals of different lengths.

- Chain timers into one compound timer, so a warm-up flows into the main set and then a cool-down.

- Color-code every interval so you know what is coming before the beep.

- Share a timer with a friend in one tap.

App Store

Version 26.0 · 2026-10-22
26.0 - Most of the app has been rebuilt: Home, the timer editors, Templates, Stopwatch, Quick Timer, Settings and the welcome screens are all new. The running timer is unchanged. - The app is now always dark, with an orange accent that the watch app and widgets share. - Stopwatch and Quick Timer work in landscape again on iPhone. - Search on Home finds folders as well as timers. - Apple Watch fetches whatever it is missing from iPhone each time the watch app opens, and runs the preparation interval before a saved timer. - You can run your newest timer as many times as you like, and creating a new timer replaces it. Your previous timers are still listed, and upgrading restores them.

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
