About this app

SkyCast Weather Radar gives you a clear local forecast at a glance, with animated conditions that make rain, clouds, snow, storms, and night skies easy to read.

Check the next few hours, review the 15-day outlook, compare saved cities, and switch units for temperature, wind, and distance from Settings.

Use the radar view for quick situational awareness, then return to the home forecast for current conditions, details, and activity suggestions.

Location access is optional. You can use your current location for local forecasts or manage cities manually.

Version 1.1.0 · 2026-10-25
SkyCast Weather Radar is now optimized for iPhone Duo. Unfold for a true two-pane workspace: hourly and 10-day forecasts stay on one side while metrics, air quality and sun details fill the other. Radar pairs its live map with precipitation controls side by side, and Cities switches to a master–detail layout for faster browsing. Both displays now support landscape, and on the cover screen a vertical tab bar keeps Weather, Radar, Cities and Settings within one-thumb reach. Start folded or unfolded — your weather follows you across displays.

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
