About this app

Transcribe+ combines high quality tempo and pitch-shifting with on-device AI that splits a song into vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, and other instruments, so you can isolate and hear EXACTLY what you are transcribing by ear. Now on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!

Adjust speed and pitch effortlessly with simple swipe gestures. Tap the waveform to pause the track, then drag to listen at your chosen pace, even one note at a time! Attach chord charts that follow the form of the song, mark song structures or add personal notes using customizable flags on the waveform, and practice specific sections repeatedly by defining looped areas.

Version 2.0.1 · 2026-10-26
What's new in 2.0.1 See who's playing: stem lanes show each musician's photo and name, with credits from Sessionography. You can turn this off in Settings. Smart loop names: loops name themselves after the soloist, the chords or the time range. A name you type always wins. Chord charts sync more reliably between your devices. Bug fixes and improvements. Transcribe+ 2.0 is our biggest update yet. NEW 6-stem AI splitting, right on your device: separate vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and everything else. Keep practicing while it works. Chord charts (iOS 27): import charts in open tune libraries and on the web. The chords play along in a lane above the waveform with the bar you're…

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
